December

December was a pretty special month at our house, I finally felt completely comfortable with two kiddos around and we did lots of celebrating.

Picking out and decorating our tree with Winston, he loved plugging the lights in and watering the tree each morning when he woke up.

We went to see the lights at Temple Square for family night and lucked out because it was WAY less crowded than when we have been on previous years, that makes a big difference. Winston refused to nap that day and didn't eat a bite of his dinner so obviously it was time for a tantrum when we got there. It was still worth it especially just for the moment Winston appreciated the Christus statue.

Grandma Goff sent us the most perfect stockings! She is always quilting beautiful blankets so I asked her almost a year ago if she could quilt us some stockings this year instead. I LOVE how they turned out. I had Grandma Hutchinson embroider our names on them after they arrived. I am so excited because this is the first year we have had stockings of our own for Santa to fill!

We invited the cousins over for a gingerbread man party and it was so very fun! I think I will make this a tradition, although I'll have to find a better recipe for the cookies next year because these turned out like rocks. Luckily the kids didn't mind.

Our Christmas cards this year :)
