Family Veterens 5K

Winston's charter school has a family activity once a month and requires 30 parent volunteer hours per student. Evan and I often talk about wanting to create an outdoor culture in our family including camping and biking so I was thrilled to find out the kids could be part of this race. Getting back into exercise after baby number 4 has by far been the most difficult-so running the double stroller for the entire race (although very slowly) felt like a huge victory for me. Evan took 3rd place in his age group and won us a bunch of fun coupons and free food, thanks babe!
