The Christensen Family

When your husband decides to smash a four year doctorate degree into two and a half years time it means one thing for you- you're flying solo. I was the luckiest to find a fellow grad school widow in Meghan and we were practically roommates for two years- meeting up often two and sometimes even three separate times and places in the same day. What started out as play dates and ward play group meet ups quickly bled into joint pizza/movie nights, institute classes, sleepovers, workout partners, girls nights, Bunco parties, countless hikes through Celery Bog, joy school, service projects, babysitting swaps, discussing her entrepreneurship plans, discussing our search for a diagnosis for Winston, and everything in between. I love this family fiercely and after avoiding their home for months after they moved away, I was finally forced to drive past it which resulted in me sobbing for a solid hour! One thrilling thing about us moving to Bountiful is that Adam's parents live there so the Christensen's will be forced to visit semi-regularly until Crew and Cosette's arranged marriage in 2037.
