Yellowstone

 I knew essentially nothing about Yellowstone before we booked this trip- it was an impulsive "look there's a campsite open- book it" type deal. Turns out Yellowstone is kind of like the Disneyland of National Parks- it is incredibly varied with showstopping stunners from the animals to the gorgeous green valleys and mountains to the wild geothermic features. This trip kicked off a yearlong quest to visit as many national parks as we could and has been a really exciting goal for our family.
