Come Back to Texas

 One of the very first things I was excited to do when Evan got a new job was buy tickets for my family to go to Texas for two weeks. I wanted to visit all my extended family and childhood friends and sit at my parents house by the pool for hours on end. I got to take my kids out on the lake in Austin where I spent so much of my childhood and see my grandparents and aunts and uncles that I've missed for so long. There were no grand adventures or amazing world wonders- just a huge serving of family time. Evan came and met us for a weekend so we could celebrate his birthday here together too.
